Two incidents between 4 and 11 p.m. March 10 are being investigated by Monroe Township police.

MONROE A break-in and an attempted entry, apparently related, are under investigation by Monroe Township police.
The incidents occurred in the same neighborhood during the same time period, between 4 and 11 p.m. March 10.
Detective Sgt. Paul Banach said Tuesday the crimes appeared to be related.
"The two residences involved are within nine houses of each other. The break-in and the attempt came within a similar time frame, and the methods used to try to gain entry were the same," Sgt. Banach said.
A burglar or burglars gained entrance to a Brandon Avenue home by breaking through the rear sliding glass door.
The homeowner said jewelry was taken from the house. The value of the jewelry is still being determined
Damage was placed at about $700.
A Christina Avenue resident reported that, during that same late afternoon to evening period, someone attempted to enter the residence through the rear sliding glass door.
An outer pane of glass on the door was broken but entry was not gained. Damage to the door was estimated to be $600
