Samuel P. Lisi, 68, of Princeton Township died Saturday, Aug. 11, at home.
Born in Princeton, he was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Lisi was an officer in the Princeton Township Police Department from 1956 to 1962.He owned and operated the Jugtown Delicatessen from 1962 to 1967 and Tiger Paint in Princeton from 1967 to 1979.
He joined the Princeton University grounds department and maintenance/paint shop departments, retiring in 1995.
He was a former member of Engine Company #1 of the Princeton Fire Department.
He was a retired member of the U.S. Army National Guard.
Son of the late Jean and Sebastian Lisi, brother of the late Michael G., he is survived by his wife, Carol M. Lisi; daughters Karen J. of San Diego and Kristin K. of Philadelphia; brother-in-law Frank Cosentino of Ewing; sister and brother-in-law Aurora and John Seeley of Princeton; sister Josephine (Nina) Cosentino of Lawrence; sister-in-law Betty Lisi of Toms River; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
