Zazzo Jr.

   BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP — Joseph W. Zazzo Jr., 39, of Bordentown Township and Waretown died Aug. 27 in the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.
   Born in Trenton, he had resided all of his life in the Bordentown and Waretown area.
   He was a self employed automobile wholesaler and was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church of Bordentown.
   He is survived by his mother and father, Gloria and Joseph Zazzo, Sr. of Bordentown Township; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Cynthia and Michael Dziura of Columbus, Kimberly M. Zazzo of Bordentown Township and Michelle P. Zazzo of Wharton; his maternal grandmother, Inez R. Fuccello of Hamilton; a niece and nephew, Amy and Keith Dziura and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
   Funeral services were held from the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown City with the Rev. Michael Burns officiating.
   Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bordentown Township.

Elissa K. Jungman

   BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP — Elissa Katherine Jungman, 67, died Aug. 30 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
   Born in Middle Village, N.Y., she was a longtime area resident and spent winters in Lauderdale By The Sea, Fla.
   Mrs. Jungman retired after more than 25 years with Stevens Furniture.
   She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and its Women’s Guild, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 491 Ladies Auxiliary and Bordentown Senior Citizens.
   Wife of the late Carl W. Jungman, she is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, William and Mary Jungman and Carl Jungman of Bordentown Township and Robert Jungman of Lakewood; four grandchildren, Carl, Jennifer Anne, Chris and James; and nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with the Rev. Timothy Phillips, pastor, officiating.
   Burial will be in U.S. National Cemetery, Beverly.

Alvin G. DeWitt

   BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP — Alvin G. DeWitt, 81, died Aug. 28 at Virtua-Memorial Hospital of Burlington County, Mount Holly.
   Born in Paterson, he was a longtime area resident.
   He was an Army infantry captain during World War II.
   Mr. DeWitt retired as a maintenance supervisor with the Civil Engineering Department at Fort Dix.
   He was a member of American Legion Post 26 and a fan of the local American Legion baseball teams.
   He enjoyed fishing.
   He is survived by his wife, Frances Van Fleet DeWitt; a son, William A. of Beach Haven; three daughters, Alanna DeWitt Bellflower of Lady Lake, Fla., Jackie L. Mortimer of Deltona, Fla., and Patti J. DeWitt of Bordentown Township; a brother, Ronald of West Virginia; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
   Memorial services were held at Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown City, with the Rev. Ron Sager officiating.
   Interment was in Princeton Memorial Park Columbarium, Washington Township.

Roxanne Elizabeth

Valley

   LAWRENCE — Roxanne Elizabeth Valley, 43, died Aug. 28 at Capital Health System at Fuld Hospital, Trenton.
   Born in Philadelphia, she attended schools in Philadelphia, Willingboro and Bordentown. She lived in Washington, D.C., before moving to Lawrenceville.
   She worked as a paralegal and administrative assistant in Washington. She is survived by a daughter, Christian Noel; her mother, June Banks Valley; two brothers, Robert and Galen Valley; two aunts, Phyllis Banks and Vivian Dorcas; and an uncle, LeRoi M. Banks.
   The funeral was private. The Rev. Darrell L. Armstrong, pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, officiated.
   Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
   Arrangements were by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
Helen K. Parrey

   TRENTON — Helen K. Parrey, 82, died Sept. 2 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center.
   Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
   She was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church of Trenton, where she was an honorary elder and former Sunday school teacher.
   Mrs. Parrey was past president and former secretary of the Demolay Mothers and a member of Order of the Eastern Star Victory Chapter.
   She enjoyed making needlework pictures and growing flowers.
   Daughter of the late Joseph Kedves and Mary Szabo, and wife of the late Lewis Parrey, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas L. and Virginia Parrey of Bensalem, Pa.; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda G. and Walter M. Katona of Crosswicks; four grandchildren, a fiancee and two spouses, Thomas L. Parrey Jr. and Kelly Beckman, Kevin W. and Holly Parrey, Walter P. and Christine Parrey and Jennifer L. Katona; two great-grandsons, Tyler Parrey and Walter J. Katona; a brother-in-law, Ernest Parrey of Trenton; two sisters-in-law, Ida Kovacs of Sun City, Ariz., and Virginia Parrey of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held from Knott’s Colonial Funeral Home, Hamilton.
   Services were held at Hungarian Reformed Church of Trenton, with the Rev. Laszlo Ujj officiating.
   Burial will be in Princeton Memorial Park, Washington Township.

Donald E. Cline

   HAMILTON — Donald E. Cline, 70, died Aug. 30 at home.
   Born in Harrisburg, Pa., he lived in Hamilton for 55 years.
   He retired as a painter from the Trenton Housing Authority.
   Son of the late Charles and Violet Whitfield Cline, he is survived by his wife, Irene Morrissey Cline; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul of Hamilton and Thomas and Joyce Cline of Bordentown Township; two daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and Andrew Mochi and Connie and Loren Johns of Bordentown Township; 10 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held at Mullen Funeral Home, Trenton.
   Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
George H.

Crawford Jr.

   LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. — George H. Crawford Jr., 85, died Aug. 10.
   Born in Trenton and a longtime area resident, he attended St. Francis Grammar School in Trenton, Bordentown High School and Drexel University, Philadelphia.
   He was a godson of the original owner of The Trenton Times.
   He was a master sergeant in the National Guard 112th Field Artillery from 1932 to 1938.
   Mr. Crawford worked four years with Public Service Electric & Gas Co. and retired after 30 years with ITT Continental Baking. After retiring, he worked with Joseph Tighue Real Estate in Hamilton Square.
   He was a volunteer firefighter with the Mercerville Fire Co. and a member of the Knights of Columbus of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Hamilton and three senior citizens clubs. He was president of Our Lady of Sorrows Senior Club in 1990.
   He and his wife moved to Laguna Niguel in 1993.
   Son of the late George H. Sr. and Clara Bradley Crawford and brother of the late Mary Crawford and Helen Crawford Donnelly, he is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth Crawford; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Crawford Beltran and Serge Beltran; two grandchildren, Brooke and Matthew Beltran; and a great-granddaughter, Anna Elizabeth Beltran.
   Service was at St. Edward’s Roman Catholic Church, Dana Point.
   Arrangements were by O’Connor Laguna Hills Mortuary.
Marion Carter

Bellardo

   FAIRLESS HILLS, Pa. — Marion Carter Bellardo, 96, died Sept. 1 at Frankford Hospital Bucks County Campus, Falls.
   Born in Falls, she had been a lifelong area resident.
   Wife of the late Henry "Pal" Bellardo, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria Mae and Walter Kozachek of Chesterfield, Shirley J. and Benjamin Backes of Washington Crossing; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Henry and Margaret Bellardo of Boynton Beach, Fla. and Geno Bellardo of Fairless Hills; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
   The funeral will be noon on Sept. 6 at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, with the Rev. Theodore Martens of Faith Baptist Church officiating.
   Burial will be at Morrisville Cemetery, following the service.
   Calling hour will be at the funeral chapel 11 a.m. on Sept. 6 until the service.
Lucy H. DeMarco

   TRENTON — Lucy H. DeMarco, 85, died Sept. 1 at Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
   Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident.
   She was employed by Horseman Doll Factory for 30 years and Mercer Clothing Factory for five years.
   She was a member of the Societa Romana Femminile.
   Daughter of the late Luigi and Giuditta Stecchiotti DeMarco and sister of the late Antoinette DeMarco and Angelina Conti, she is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Isadore and Lena DeMarco of Trenton, Ralph and Barbara DeMarco of Chesterfield; a sister, Mary C. DeMarco of Trenton; nine nieces and nephews; and seven grandnieces and grandnephews.
   The funeral will be 9 a.m. on Sept. 6 at Gruerio Funeral Home, 311 Chestnut Ave.
   Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.

DeVito Gale

   LAWRENCE — Josephine J. DeVito Gale, 75, died Sept. 1 at Capital Health System at Fuld Hospital, Trenton.
   Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
   Mrs. Gale retired from Kramer Trenton Co. after many years.
   Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Raimondo DeVito, wife of the late Charles R. Gale and sister of the late Russell DeVito and Lucy Migliacci, she is survived by two sisters, Carmella Olynyk of Columbus and Grace Munson of Beverly; two aunts, Jennie Guarino and Lena Raimondo of Trenton; and other relatives.
   Funeral and burial were private.
   Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
   Arrangements were by Brenna Funeral Home, Trenton.
