MONTGOMERY Helen Terhune, 94, of Blawenburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Burnt Tavern Rehabilitation Center, Brick.
Born in Stoutsburg, she was a lifelong area resident.
She graduated from Trenton Normal School and was a teacher and principal at Blawenburg School until 1938.
Daughter of the late John Arthur and Gertrude Cook Hurley and wife of the late Elmer Terhune, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda Jill and Randall Linneweber of Brielle; two grandchildren, Colin and Jacylene Linneweber of Brielle; three sisters, Florence Hurley of Lawrence, Ethel Lehman of Neshanic Station and Betty Hurley of Houma, La.; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral and burial will be private.
Arrangements are by Cromwell Memorial Home.
