Joseph S. Zoladz, 86, died Thursday, Oct. 4, at home.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Trenton and Lawrenceville resident.
An Army veteran of World War II, he served with the 1564th Combat Engineering Company in the Pacific and participated in the liberation of the Philippines.
Mr. Zoladz retired in 1977 after 25 years with Sterling Drug Co., Hamilton. He was a member of American Legion North Trenton Post 458, Polish Falcons Nest 59 and St. Hedwig Men’s Choir for more than 50 years. He also was a member of Lawrence Township Seniors Club 1 and Lawrence Elks Lodge.
Son of the late Alojzy and Anna Zabawa Zoladz and brother of the late Walter (his twin), Anthony and John Zoladz and Lottie Klidzia, he is survived by his wife, Irene Stefaniak Zoladz; a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond J. and Jean M. Zoladz of Mount Laurel; three grandchildren, Scott and Mark Zoladz of Long Beach Island and Kimberly Kiely and her husband, Jefferson, of Reston, Va.; a sister, Catherine Sielski of Lawrenceville; and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Ave., Trenton.
