Louvenia Hill

   Louvenia Baker Hill, 66, died Thursday, Dec. 13, in Monroe.
   She was born on March 9, 1935, in Marion S.C., and had lived in Mystic, Conn., and later in Edison for 14 years before moving to Monroe.
   She was employed by Merck & Co., Inc. for 17 years as a benefits administrator before retiring in 1986. She was a life member of the Rahway Chapter of the National Council of Negro Women as well as the Rahway Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. She was also a member of Ebenezer Church in Rahway.
   She is survived by her husband, Jerry R. Hill Sr.; two daughters, Cynthia Hill Franklin and Geraldine Hill Hamer; a son-in-law, Derek Hamer; her son, Jerry R. Hill Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Karen Hill; three sisters, Mary Blake, the Rev. Lucretia Leonard and Jacqueline Hall; a brother, the Rev. Jonathan Baker; a sister-in-law, Janie McLean; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
   Services were held Monday, Dec. 17, at Ebenezer AME Church in Rahway. A burial was held at Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Arrangements were made under the direction of Jones Funeral Home in Rahway.
