F. Marie Ziolkowski, 81, died Wednesday at Plaza Regency at the Windrows, Plainsboro.
Born in Hopewell, she was a lifelong area resident.
She was a member of the Pennington Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary; Hopewell Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary; Mercer County Ladies Auxiliary; New Jersey State Ladies Auxiliary; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3525; New Jersey State VFW; American Legion Post 339; and Hopewell Valley Babe Ruth League, where she was past president.
She also was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Hopewell.
Daughter of the late Walter and Ella Rinz Lake, wife of the late Julius Yuhas and Stanley Ziolkowski and sister of the late Dorothy Horner, she is survived by a son, John S. Ziolkowski of Bridgewater; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy C. and David Williamson of Hopewell; five grandchildren, Renee, Darren, Jennifer, Heather and Sandy; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 54 E. Prospect St.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 9 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
