HILLSBOROUGH Andrew Hummel died Sunday, Feb. 17. He was 17.
Born in New York City, he lived in Somerville for three years before moving to Hillsborough in 1987.
He was a senior at Hillsborough High School.
Surviving are his parents, Edward and Jean Hummel; two sisters, Kirsten and Amanda at home; two brothers, Eric and Matthew at home; and his paternal grandparents, Edgar and Kathryn Hummel of Queens, N.Y.
A funeral service was held Feb. 20 in Hillsborough Funeral Home, followed by a Mass in Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville.
Burial was in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Bridgewater.
