Joseph Carr

   Joseph J. Carr, 79, died Monday, Feb. 4, at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital, Trenton.
   Born in Newark, he lived in Lawrence 17 years.
   He was a self-employed city planner and owned Joseph Carr Associates. He graduated from Rutgers College in 1951 and was a member of the New Jersey Planners Association.
   Mr. Carr was an Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 1387th Engineers in the Pacific.
   Son of the late Joseph J. Sr. and Anna Marbach Carr, he is survived by his wife, Eunice Fischer Carr; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Judith Carr of Vienna, Va., and Paul D. and Lynne Carr of Kennebunkport, Maine; and two grandchildren.
   The funeral will be 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road.
   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road.
   Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton.
   Calling hours will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today (Thursday) at the funeral home.
