Peter Stefanick Jr., 82, of Lawrence died Thursday, Jan. 31, at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital, Trenton.
Born in Pardeesville, Pa., he was an area resident more than 50 years.
He retired in 1982 after more than 30 years as a crane operator with U.S. Steel Corp.
He was an Army Air Corps sergeant during World War II and a member of American Legion North Trenton Post 458 and St. Mary of the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, Trenton.
Son of the late Peter Sr. and Anna Claypotch Stefanick, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anna Penkala Stefanick; a daughter, Susan Stefanick of Lawrence; and a sister, Helen Zelenak of Hazleton, Pa.
Arrangements were by Lisiecki Memorial Home, 1028 N. Olden Ave., Trenton.
Burial will be in St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery, Hamilton.
