Gladys M. Bell, 93, died Friday, April 5, at the Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Capeville, Va., she was a New Jersey resident for many years.
She attended Capeville public schools.
She was a domestic worker for many years.
She was a member of St. John’s Baptist Church and served on its usher board, missionary society and was a pastor’s aid.
Daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah Morris, widow of the late Woodrall Bell and sister of the late Ivory Van Picott, Georgia Talley, Samuel Jr., John and Joseph Morris, she is survived by a daughter, Ruth Talley of Lawrence, with whom she lived; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends including her special family, the Deys and Drakes.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, at St. John’s Baptist Church, 70 Oregon St., Ewing, with the Rev. Vincent Jackson, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. until time of service at the church.
