Marjorie McKinnon, 54, died Thursday, March 28, in South Brunswick.
Born in Queens, N.Y., she resided in Dayton most of her life.
She was a self employed writer.
She attended the First Presbyterian Church of Dayton, and was active in Community Presbyterian Church of the Sand Hills, Kendall Park.
Surviving are two sons, John M. and Robert Vernola, both of Dayton, and a daughter, Margaret Vernola of Dayton.
The funeral was held Tuesday, April 2, at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home in Monmouth Junction. Burial was at Dayton Cemetery in Dayton.
