Michael S. McNeil, 24, died Tuesday, April 2, at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Bronx, N.Y., he moved to New Brunswick in 1979 and attended Lakeview School in Edison. Most recently, he resided in Franklin Park.
He was a graduate of Franklin High School, and attended the adult program in Piscataway.
He participated in the Special Olympics and was associated with Jehovah’s Witnesses of Franklin Park Kingdom Hall.
He is survived by his mother, Diane Y. McNeil of Franklin Park; his father and stepmother, Hugh E. and Sheila D. McNeil of South Brunswick; a brother, Terrance D. McNeil of Rahway and a stepbrother, Jordan A. McNeil of South Brunswick. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Lena Bennet of Highland Park and his paternal grandmother, Claire McNeil of Highland Mills, N.Y.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 5, at the MJ Murphy Funeral Home in Monmouth Junction. Burial followed at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
