Victor Hernandez, 26, of Somerville was charged with shoplifting unspecified itemson April 28 at 2:30 p.m., police said.
The arrest was made after Wal-Mart security called police. Mr. Hernandez posted $200 bail and was released pending a municipal court date.
Joseph W. Mathewson, 23, of Somerville was charged with driving while intoxicated and other motor vehicle offenses at 11:19 p.m. April 27 on North Main Street, police said.
According to the police, Mr. Mathewson was pulled over in his 1988 Chevrolet Camaro after he failed to keep right and disregarded a signal.
He was processed, summonsed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
At 9:38 a.m. on April 27, a Huff Avenue resident informed the police that a dirt bike and a helmet had been stolen from a shed in his back yard.
The victim estimated that the two items had a value of $2,250. The police are investigating.
Joaquin B. Betancourt-Balv, 38, of Somerville was charged with driving while intoxicated and other motor vehicle offenses at 2:09 a.m. on April 26.
Mr. Betancourt-Balv’s 1989 Toyota Celica was pulled over on North Main Street after an officer allegedly saw Mr. Betancourt-Balv driving carelessly.
He was also charged with careless driving and driving with a suspended license.
Christopher Major, 26, of Monmouth Junction was charged with third-degree possession of crack cocaine at 9:19 p.m. on April 25, according to police.
The police received a tip that Mr. Major was in possession of drugs while driving in the town. Mr. Major was pulled over on South Main Street, and police allegedly found a small amount of crack-cocaine.
Jennifer L. Mingle, 19, of West Camplain Road was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia at 11:30 a.m. on April 25.
Ms. Mingle was charged at Wal-Mart where officers were responding to a different call. According to the police, Ms. Mingle was in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and of drug paraphernalia.
She was processed, summonsed and released pending a municipal court hearing.
