Josephine T. Pasela Kosztyo, 81, died Monday, May 13, at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Trenton and Lawrence resident.
Mrs. Kosztyo retired in 1986 after 49 years with Carter Wallace Co. in Trenton and Cranbury. She previously worked with Young’s Rubber, Trenton, and was a cafeteria assistant at St. Hedwig School, Trenton, for many years.
She volunteered at bingo games at American Legion Post 458, Trenton, and was a former member of its Ladies Auxiliary.
Daughter of the late Felix and Karolina Wojcyk Pasela, sister of the late Enis Pasela, Mary Szczech, Tekla Krulewicz and Stanley Pasela, she is survived by her husband, Joseph S. Kosztyo; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Jeanette Pasela of Hamilton, John and Jean Pasela of Lawrence and Joseph and Elizabeth Pasela of Lawrence; and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Ave., Trenton.
Burial will be in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
In lieu of flowers due to veteran cemetery regulations, the family would appreciate Mass cards.
