PHILADELPHIA Dorothy Levy Mansky, 79, died Monday, April 29, at Frankford Hospital.
Born and educated in Trenton, she lived in Northeast Philadelphia 35 years.
She retired as a secretary for the engineering department of Tasty Baking Co., Philadelphia, and had volunteered at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, for 10 years.
Daughter of the late Harry and Jennie Bernstein Levy, she is survived by a sister, Frances Finkle of Lambertville; four nieces, Carolyn Allen of Newton, Mass., Florence Finkle of New York, Rachel Finkle of Sergeantsville and Judith Levy of Valley Cottage, N.Y.; and two nephews, Jeffrey Doranz of Annendale, Va., and Dr. Benjamin Doranz of Philadelphia.
A memorial service was held May 2 at Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville. Burial was private.

SAN FRANCISCO Joseph T. Brophy, 58, died Monday, April 22.
Born in Nyack, N.Y., he lived in Trenton 32 years before moving to California in 1981.
He graduated from Trenton Central High School and Temple University, Philadelphia.
Son of the late James V. Brophy and brother of the late Frank Brophy, he is survived by a son, Michael J. of Eugene, Ore.; his former wife, Patricia De Bonis Brophy of Stockton; his mother, Elinore M. Brophy, and three brothers, James A., Matthew F. and Mark A., all of Trenton; seven sisters, Maryann Miller, Ellen Hargraves and Joan and Julia Brophy, all of Hamilton, Kathleen Tackacs of Ewing, Jane Thompson of Lambertville and Anastasia Snyder of Yardley, Pa.; and other relatives.
A memorial service will be private.
Arrangements were under the direction of Duggan’s Funeral Service of San Francisco.
WEST AMWELL Catherine Roletter Hughes, 73, died Saturday, May 4, at home.
Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Long Island, Manchester, Conn., and Yorktown Heights, N.Y., for 16 years before moving to West Amwell 20 years ago.
She was a former member of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Yorktown Heights, and was parish secretary for 10 years.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Lambertville.
She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles and was an animal lover.
Daughter of the late John and Josephine Dermody Roletter, she is survived by her husband, Charles R. Hughes; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen Hughes and Michael J. Burgess of Delmar, N.Y.; a son, John C. Hughes of Jersey City; a brother, John Roletter of Brooklyn; and two grandchildren, Joseph M. and Catherine A. Burgess.
The funeral was held Wednesday from Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at the church. Burial was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.

LAMBERTVILLE Hazel M. Barcroft, 97, died Wednesday, May 1, at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown, Pa.
Born in Trenton, she was a longtime Lambertville resident.
She and her husband owned Barcroft’s Market in Lambertville many years.
She graduated from Mercer Hospital School of Nursing, Trenton, in 1926 and was an honored alumna at the school’s 100th anniversary in 1995. She was a licensed registered nurse at Mercer Hospital and served with the former Lambertville Ambulance Association.
She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Lambertville. She was an avid stamp collector and member of the Lambertville Stamp Club. She was a history buff, particularly especially interested in Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Lindbergh trial. She also enjoyed poetry and reading.
Widow of Earl Barcroft, mother of the late Barbara Ferragine and grandmother of the late Michael Partite, she is survived by her grandchildren, Susanne M. Cavallo of Lambertville, Barry F. Schermerhorn of Oakland, Luanne Ferragine of Santa Barbara County, Calif., and Joseph and Nicholas Ferragine of Clifton; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
The funeral was held Saturday at Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, Lambertville, with the Rev. David Wilson, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery.

DELAWARE Patrick H. Harrington, 58, of Delaware Township and Tuckerton, N.J., died Wednesday, May 1, at home in Delaware.
Born in Newark, he lived in Roseland before moving to Delaware Township 23 years ago.
He was a sheet metal worker with Local 25, Newark.
He founded the Roseland Girls Softball Association.
Son of the late Patrick and Leah Taylor Harrington, he is survived by his wife, Jo-Ann Cerrato Harrington; three daughters, Lori Lubano of Delaware Township, Kari Kuczynski of Reading, Pa., and Traci Peterpaul of Kingwood; a sister, Dorothy Voorhees of Bound Brook; and five grandchildren.
The service was private.

NEW HOPE Ronald L. Smith, 67, died Monday, May 6, at home.
Born in Janeau, he lived in Trenton and Levittown before moving to New Hope in 1972.
He was a freight conductor with Pennsylvania Railroad, Conrail, 30 years and also worked in real estate.
He enjoyed painting, wood and concrete sculpting.
Son of the late the Rev. Rand and the Rev. Arlene Ginter, he is survived by his wife of 45 years, F. Valjean Hazlett Smith; a daughter and son-in-law, Randi and Joseph Herrity; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronald Smith and Donald and Bobbi Smith; three sisters, Pauline Gahagen, Jamie Freeman and Linda Downs; and seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be held today (May 9) at 11 a.m. at Leaver-Cable Funeral Home, Buckingham. Burial will be in Doylestown Cemetery.
A life celebration will be held from 9 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.
