Nicholas Buday

   MANVILLE — Nicholas Buday died Saturday, April 27, at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. He was 75.
   Born in Brooklyn, N.Y, he was raised in the Kingswood and Flemington area, he settled in Manville 52 years ago.
   Mr. Buday was a retired Designed Draftsman for Deteo Engineering Co. of Middlesex and had also worked for several other engineering companys in the area throughout his career.
   He served in the U.S. Army during World War II
   He was a member of the Thomas J Kavanaugh Post 2290 and the American Legion post 304 both of Manville, the Manville Senior Citizens and the Round Valley Trout Association.
   Surviving are his wife, Marie C. (Veglia) Buday; and two daughters, Nancy and Marcia both of Palm Harbor, Fla.
   Funeral services were conducted May 1, from the Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, Manville, followed by a service at the Manville Reformed Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
