Robert P. Sheppard
HAMILTON Robert P. Sheppard, 75, died Sept. 30 at Compassionate Care Hospice unit at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, he lived in Hamilton most of his life.
Mr. Sheppard was a monument engraver and salesman with Joseph M. Bowker & Son of Bordentown, retiring after 38 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Son of the late Edgar J. and Hildreth Taylor Sheppard, father of the late Diane Marie Sheppard and brother of the late Edgar Sheppard, he is survived by his wife, Helen Volpe Sheppard; a son, David Sheppard of Hamilton; a sister-in-law, Ann Sheppard of Florida; three nieces and their husbands, Cheryl and Richard Kotavski of East Windsor, Kim and Rod Johnston of Florida and Debbie and Walt Johnson of North Carolina; and a nephew, Wayne Sheppard of East Windsor.
The funeral will be 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 3 from Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., with Deacon Jeffrey Pierfy, chaplain of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, officiating.
Burial will be in Bordentown Cemetery.

Catherine P. Polizzi
TRENTON Catherine P. "Kay" Polizzi, 83, died Sept. 29 at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident.
Daughter of the late Francesco and Marianna Iorio Papa, she is survived by her husband, Vincent Polizzi; a son and daughter-in-law, Salvatore J. and Mary Ann Polizzi of Lawrenceville; four grandchildren, Toni Polizzi and fiancé Robert Kaloustian of Mount Laurel, Catherine Hasselbach and husband, Steve, of Bordentown, Vincent Polizzi of New York City and Gina Polizzi of Lawrenceville; three brothers, Armando Papa of Galloway, Emilio Papa of Hopewell and Anthony Papa of Yardley, Pa.; a sister, Lucille Maruca of Lower Makefield, Pa.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Oct. 3 at the Church of St. Ann.
Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.

Elizabeth A. Patrick
HAMILTON Elizabeth A. Patrick died Sept. 28 at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton. She was 83.
Born in Trenton, daughter of the late George and Theresa Schwartz, she was a lifelong Hamilton Square resident.
A 1937 graduate of Trenton High School, Mrs. Patrick had been the manager at Kuller Travel Agency, Princeton, retiring after 30 years.
She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, Nottingham Fire Co. Auxiliary, Nottingham Senior Citizens and Nottingham Women’s Club.
Mrs. Patrick enjoyed traveling, knitting, playing cards and reading.
Wife of the late Christian Patrick, she is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Diane and Richard Ryan of Bordentown and Kathleen and Roger Grimes of Fair Oaks, Calif.; sisters and brothers-in-law Theresa and Louis Bolla of Hamilton Square and Frances and Frank Ondrushek of Cream Ridge; sisters-in-law Betty Jackson and Margaret Malone; grandchildren Patrick and Matthew Ryan, and Justin, Sean and Samantha Grimes; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at Saul Colonial Home, Hamilton Square, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.

Linda Mae Williams
TRENTON Linda Mae Williams, 54, died Sept. 26 at home.
Born in Newark, she lived in the Trenton area four years.
She enjoyed cooking.
Daughter of the late Ann Jonasen, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Melissa Oeming of Groveville; a brother, Ronnie Williams of Nutley; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Annette Campbell of Arlington, Texas, and twin Carol and Larry Pastuszak of Bordentown; a grandson, Ethan Oeming; and nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Sacred Heart Church.
Cremation was private.

Julia DiDonato Matyas
Friday, September 27, 2002CAPE CORAL, Fla. Julia Irene Merlo DiDonato Matyas, 78, died Sept. 14.
Born in Bristol, Pa., she was raised in Trenton and graduated from Trenton Central High School.
She owned Sy’s Television store with her second husband, Simon Matyas, in Roebling. She moved to Cape Coral in 1984 and retired as a library page for Cape Coral Public Library.
She was vice president of the Elegant Ladies of the Italian-American Club of Cape Coral and a member of several local fraternal and charity organizations.
She enjoyed playing bocce.
Predeceased by her first husband, Nicholas DiDonato, and second husband, Simon Matyas, she was the daughter of the late Guido and Liberata Taffi Merlo, sister of the late Josephine Bruschini, Anna Fusco, Guerrino "Joe," Daniel and Geno Merlo, and grandmother of the late Kelli Lee Matyas.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra H. Iacovelli of Cape Coral; three sons, David S. and Donald V. Matyas of Mount Holly and Dennis W. Matyas of Telford, Pa.; three granddaughters, Samantha, Nicole and Natalie Matyas; two sisters, Mary Zanca and Elizabeth "Betty" Pushman of Cape Coral; a brother, Victor Merlo of Trenton; and other relatives.
Graveside services were held at Colonial Memorial Park, South Broad Street, Hamilton.

Julia Vinczeller Pricolo
TRENTON Julia "Bobbie" Vinczeller Pricolo, 91, of the city’s Chambersburg section, died Sept. 19 at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital.
Born in Jersey City, she lived in Chambersburg most of her life.
She had been a waitress in Jersey City and with Famous Restaurant in Trenton.
Mrs. Pricolo was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
Daughter of the late Michael and Bertha Papp Vinczeller, wife of the late Michael Pricolo and mother of the late Elmer "Rocky" Hughes, she is survived by seven grandsons, Michael B. Hughes of Selbyville, Del., David B. Hughes of Levittown, Pa., John R. Hughes of Bordentown, Francis P. Hughes of Los Angeles, Steven W. Hughes of Trenton, Frank A. Hughes of West Windsor and Walter A. Hughes of Trenton; two granddaughters, Christine R. Montervino of Bordentown and Kimberley Hughes of Trenton; 11 great-grandchildren; two nephews, William Vinczeller of West Trenton and Eugene "Augie" Vinczeller of Florida; a stepdaughter, Shirley Phillips of Trenton; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Hughes of Trenton.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
Burial was in the family plot at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
