Photo contest seeks entries by Oct. 14

The Freehold Soil Conservation District is sponsoring its annual photo contest. Photographers are asked to capture subjects in Middlesex and Monmouth counties in the following themed categories: agriculture, conservation practices, natural resources and wildlife. The contest is open in two divisions: adult (ages 18 and over) and teen (ages 13-17).

Aprize of $75 will be awarded in each themed category for both age divisions.

Photos must be taken in Middlesex County or Monmouth County and must fit into one of the themed categories. Photos must be 8 by 10 inches or larger.

An entry form must be included with each photo (limit two entries per person). Photos can be submitted by mail or in person to the Freehold Soil Conservation District, 4000 Kozloski Road, Freehold, NJ 07728 or by email to [email protected]. Prints are preferred, but not required.

Photos will not be returned. The photographer retains photo rights. Winning photos will be used in Freehold Soil Conservation District (nonprofit) educational and outreach programs. The entry deadline is Oct. 14.
