John F. Lesko, 70, of Monroe, died Sunday, March 30, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge.
Born in Rahway, Mr. Lesko lived in North Edison for over 35 years before moving to Monroe two years ago. Mr. Lesko was the owner of V&L Construction Co. in Edison for 45 years before retiring in 1994. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post 471 in Iselin.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; two daughters, and their husbands, Barbara Ann and Rick Hartlander of Monroe and Patricia Helen and Ed Small, also of Monroe; his mother, Louise Zeboya Lesko of Clayton, Del.; his brother, Michael of Tamarac, Fla.; his sister, Florence Punke of Clayton, Del.; four grandchildren, Leah and Katherine Hartlander and Angela and Eddie Small, and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Thursday, April 3. Entombment took place in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum in South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 U.S. Route 1, North Brunswick, N.J. 08902.
