Leon J. Steinberg, 75, of Monroe, died Monday, March 24, in Cranbury.
He had worked as a mechanic for 30 years for LJ Diesel Service in Keasbey. Leon served in the Marine Corps during World War II. He was a former member of Spotswood VFW Post 262. He was an avid hunter.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Helen; a son, Paul Steinberg of Edison; two daughters, Nancy Gillies of Milltown and Janet Nardo of Robbinsville; six grandchildren, Sean, Christine, Janet and Joseph Gillies, Joseph Fetch and Alexis Steinberg and two great-grandchildren, Sara and Sean Gillies.
Arrangements were made by the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home in Milltown.
