Mr. Thomas L. LoPresti, 79, died Thursday, July 10, at his home.
Born in New York City, he lived in Brooklyn before moving to Monroe in 1985. He was a truck driver for the parcel post delivery division of the United States Postal Service for 17 years, retiring in 1985. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member and past commander in 1962 and 1963 of the American Legion Bill Brown Post in Brooklyn. His leisure activities including playing racquetball, shooting pool and his love of music included playing guitar and dancing. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Spotswood.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carmella; a daughter, Ann C. and her husband, Joseph Martucci, of Monroe; three sons, Joseph M. and his wife, Joann, of East Brunswick, Anthony J. and his wife, Audrey, of Brick and Thomas B. and his wife, Kathleen, of New Egypt; a sister, Christina Loiacono of Florida; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Entombment took place at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge under the direction of M. David DeMarco Funeral Home in Monroe.
