Alan Amundsen

   HILLSBOROUGH — Alan Roger Amundsen died Friday, Nov. 21, in Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. He was 55.
   Born in Bridgeport, Conn., he lived in Ridgefield, Conn., before moving to Hillsborough 25 years ago.
   Mr. Amundsen worked for Engelhard Corporation in Iselin as a research chemist for more than 20 years.
   He was a member of ACS-American Chemical Society and the MAC-Mid Atlantic Center for the Arts in Cape May.
   Surviving are his wife, Donna (Zagrobelny) Amundsen; a son, Michael of Hillsborough; his mother, Alberta Amundsen of Hawley, Pa.; and one brother, Eric of Watertown, N.Y.
   Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 23, from Hillsborough Funeral Home, Hillsborough. Cremation was private.
