FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP — Members of the CentraState Associated Auxiliaries are gearing up for their 2014 fall vendor event, which will offer a variety of items for sale.
The event will be held at the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, 901 W. Main St. (Route 537), on the CentraState Medical Center campus. The event will take place 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 18-19.
Admission to the vendor show is free, and light refreshments will be available for purchase.
The event is being held to benefit cancer care at CentraState Medical Center, according to Geri Silverman, fundraising chairwoman for the auxiliaries.
The event will feature vendors selling a variety of upscale merchandise, according to Silverman. Merchandise available for purchase will include baby, children’s and women’s handcrafted items, jewelry, pottery, ceramic items, handbags, and bath and body products.
Representatives from Tupperware, Thirty One, Tastefully Simple, The Pampered Chef and Scentsy Candles will also be present. Ear screenings will be available for guests, and a financial planner will also be on hand.
Vendors will be selling home improvement items, silk flower arrangements, crafted soaps, Christmas items and toys.
Those interested in antiques will appreciate a visit from Perry Rosenblum, the owner of Englishtown Antiques, on Oct. 19. Rosenblum will be conducting antique appraisals at 2 p.m.
Auxiliary members, including Silverman and Sharon Berenson, who handles publicity for the organization, are working hard to assure the event is a success and provides a variety of wonderful items to see and to buy.
The CentraState Associated Auxiliaries, composed of all volunteers, is in its 47th year of continuing support of the CentraState Healthcare System.
Also on the horizon of fundraising events for the organization is “A Culinary Affair to Remember,” which will feature signature dishes from area restaurants and wine tasting.
The event will be held 6:30-9:30 p.m. April 20 at the Radisson Hotel, Freehold Township. Tickets are $75, and the proceeds will benefit the Student Health Awareness Center at the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Care Campus and the Statesir Cancer Center programs at CentraState Medical Center.
