Maryann Jacobus

   HAMMONTON — Maryann Jacobus, 63, died Sunday at Cooper Health System in Camden.
   Born in New Brunswick and raised in Cranbury, Ms. Jacobus resided in Princeton Junction until moving to Hammonton in 2003.
   During her working career, Ms. Jacobus held managerial positions with McGraw-Hill in New York and Monsanto Chemical Corporation. She retired at age 45 from Eagle-Pitcher Industries as the executive in charge of East Coast operations.
   Ms. Jacobus enjoyed collecting fine china, oriental art, antiques and classic cars. She loved cooking, decorating, gardening and with her husband always at her side, loved living in Hammonton.
   Daughter of the late Garret Docherty Sr. and sister of the late Donald Docherty, she is survived by her husband of 33 years, Richard; her mother, Thelma Docherty of Cranbury; a brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Mary Jane Docherty of East Windsor; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Susan and George Langer of Cranbury, Jane Hand of East Brunswick and Thelma and Harry Taylor of Freehold; and many nieces and nephews.
   Funeral service was held Wednesday at A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury.
   Cremation followed at the Ewing Crematory, Ewing Township.
   Private Christian Burial will be held in Hammonton at the convenience of the family.
   In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Hammonton Rescue Squad, 300 South Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
Catherine Tiffert Kotz

   HAMILTON — Catherine Tiffert Kotz, 92, died Saturday at home.
   Born in Trenton, Mrs. Kotz was a lifelong resident.
   She was a longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church, was active for many years in the Parent-Teachers Association, Girl Scout leadership, Ladies of the Blessed Sacrament and Mount Carmel Guild. Also, she was long-associated with the Volk Insurance Agency of Pennington.
   Daughter of the late Peter A. and Anna Bauer Tiffert, wife of the late Milton P. Kotz, sister of the late Helen T. Chesner, Mary B. Tiffert, and Peter S. Tiffert, she is survived by two daughters, Sister Jacqueline Marie Kotz, OSF of Baltimore, Md., Jacqeline Kotz Cottone of Lawrence; seven grandchildren, Robert Cottone and his wife Lauren of Hightstown, John Cottone and his wife Wendy of Hamilton, Ann Marie Cottone of Philadelphia, Carol Ann Schurter and her husband Jeff of Lawrence, Richard Cottone and his wife Sally of Haddonfield, "Jimmer" Cottone and his wife Lisa of Lawrence, and Christopher Cottone of Philadelphia; four great-grandchildren, Emma, Elizabeth, John Jr., and Ava Cottone; three sisters-in-law, Theresa Tiffert, Florence DeGregory, and Winifred Kotz; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
   Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church in Trenton.
   Burial was in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

Dorothy K. Stonaker

   HIGHTSTOWN — Dorothy K. "Dot" Stonaker, 76, died of natural causes on July 8 at her residence surrounded by her family.
   Born in Princeton, she came to Hightstown 55 years ago.
   Ms. Stonaker retired in 1991 from the Princeton township tax collector’s office after working 21 years as the deputy tax collector.
   Prior to that, she worked for the Princeton medical group for 13 years as a bookkeeper and the New Jersey Bell Telephone as a telephone operator for 13 years in Princeton.
   Mrs. Stonaker spent her leisure time fishing, solving crossword puzzles and taking trips to Atlantic City.
   She is predeceased by her husband, Horace Stonaker, who passed away in 1999 and her brother, James Kopliner. She is survived by a son, James P. and his wife, Kathleen P. Stonaker of Long Branch; a daughter, Joanne S. Mercantini, with whom she lived; two grandchildren, Lou Mercantini and Eagan Stonaker; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler Mercantini and Michelle Rogers.
   A Funeral Mass was held on Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 251 Franklin St., Hightstown.
   Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.
   Arrangements are under the direction of Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown.
