Lambertville

   Christopher S. Eick, 25, of West Amwell was charged in connection with several residential burglaries, two on Ferry Street and one on Wilson Street, during the early morning hours of July 30, police said.
   Mr. Eick allegedly entered the Wilson Street residence through an unsecured read sliding door by prying open a basement window screen.
   The residents, who were asleep when Mr. Eick allegedly broke in, discovered the burglary the next morning, police said.
   Several witnesses provided a description of a man and a vehicle in the area of the burglaries, police said.
   Mr. Eick was charged at midnight July 30. Some property has been recovered, police said.
   He was released without bail, but is bring held at Hunterdon County Jail in connection with unrelated charges in West Amwell.
   Mark A. Pullen, 39, of Haring Road, Doylestown, Pa., was arrested on an outstanding warrant at about 1 p.m. Aug. 9.
   Police said Mr. Pullen ran a stop sign in his vehicle at Mt. Hope Street. He was stopped on South Union Street near the Inn of the Hawke.
   He was released after posting the $150 bail for failure to appear on the warrant issued by Hopewell Township.
   Anthony Salvatore Truncellito, 45, of Hamilton was charged with drunken driving at about 7 p.m. Aug. 9.
   Police said they received a report of an erratic driver going north on Route 29, south of Lambertville. Police stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Elm and North Main streets.
   Mr. Truncellito told police he had taken Oxycontin, a pain medicine, for a bad back and was taking his son and another child fishing; both children were in the back seat, police said.
   He also was charged with drunken driving and released without bail.
   A New Hope woman was charged with driving with a suspended and expired driver’s license shortly before midnight Aug. 13.
   Police said Marisa L. Birdy, 32, of West Ferry Street, was doing 38 mph in a 25-mph zone on Route 29 near Lambertville Public School.
   Police said Ms. Birdy could not show a license, insurance or registration. There also were two warrants for her arrest, issued by Lambertville for $119 for failure to appear.
   She was released after posting bail.
   Staring at police spelled trouble for two motorists Aug. 11 shortly before noon.
   Police said a vehicle was leaving a restaurant on Route 179 and turned to look at a police car. Their car stopped, blocked the exit and stared at the policeman in the car while the signal changed, police said.
   Police saw a rejected inspection sticker on the car and stopped the vehicle.
   The driver, Gail Cameron of Ringwood, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license and refusal to inspect.
   The passenger, Theresa Jakubiak, 35, of Hamilton gave a false name to police at first. Police identified her and found eight outstanding warrants, issued by Princeton, Hamilton Township and West Windsor, for a total of $3,755. She was unable to post bail and was turned over to Hamilton Township police.
   Charles M. Bocker, 55, of Morrisville, Pa., was arrested on an outstanding warrant Aug. 9 at about 7:30 a.m.
   Police said Mr. Bocker was driving 43 mph in a 25-mph zone on Route 29. A check revealed the warrant for $206 from North Brunswick.
   He was released after posting bail.
   Daniel Krovatin, 41, of Trenton turned himself in on an outstanding warrant for $82 from Lambertville at about 11:30 a.m. Aug. 10.
   He was released after posting bail.
   Eric Rightmyer, 37, of Lambertville turned himself in on an outstanding warrant for $250 from Lambertville at about 9 a.m. Aug. 11.
   He was released after posting bail.
   Paul Garcia, 41, of Flemington was charged with drunken driving after being stopped for speeding shortly after 12:30 a.m. Friday.
   Police said Mr. Garcia was going 40 mph in a 25-mph zone on Route 29 near Lambertville Public School.
   He was stopped on Route 29. He also was charged with speeding and taken to Hunterdon County Jail.
New Hope

   Aug. 7, at 2:06 a.m., the owner of a South Main Street establishment reported someone had smashed the window of his store, but did not get in.
   Saturday at 11:10 a.m., the owner of a South Main Street property reported that, at sometime overnight, someone had removed a banner valued at $1,000 from the side of a building.
Solebury

   Thursday, Aug. 12, at 3:55 p.m., a green truck lost a load of lumber at the intersection of Street and Stoney Hill roads.
   The truck was making a turn on Stoney Hill Road when it lost its load, hitting a truck driven by Jason Tomlinson, 25, of Westbury Court, Doylestown.
   No injuries were reported. Mr. Tomlinson’s vehicle was driven from the scene.
   The truck was last seen going east on Stoney Hill Road.
   There was a theft from a mailbox on Sawmill Road sometime between Friday afternoon and Saturday when the mail was discovered taken from the box.
   Missing are two movies, which were being returned. Other mail was found on the ground.
   There was a burglary on Ely Road sometime between late evening Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
   Police said the house was ransacked and a flat screen computer monitor along with a large amount a cash was taken.
