Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with an Oct. 16 home repair scam at a home on Route 528.
According to police, the man, described as young and with a medium build, knocked on the door of a Route 528 home around 1:30 p.m. that day and claimed to be doing work on the neighbor’s fence. Police said the resident led the man into the back yard after he asked to measure it; the man then made a call on his cell phone and spoke to someone in Spanish, police reported.
A few minutes later, police said, the man made another call, again in Spanish, as the two headed back toward the house. Police said the resident asked for a business card, which the man said was in his truck; the man then drove off toward Bordentown with another person in the tuck, police reported.
The next day, police said, the resident noticed that $60 had gone missing from a wallet and some upstairs drawers had apparently been rifled through.
Police described the man’s truck as a white flatbed pickup with utility stakes jutting from the side walls and a black tailgate.

Police are searching for the burglar who reportedly kicked in the front door of an Iron Bridge Road home on Oct. 11, stole money and rummaged through the upstairs bedroom.
According to police, the residents came home in the evening and found their house had been broken into. Money was reported taken from the kitchen, but no other items appeared to be missing, police said. Police did not say how much money had been taken, but said the burglar is believed to have traveled by bicycle to and from the home.

FLORENCE
Police charged a Trenton man with driving while intoxicated along Route 130 on Oct. 22.
According to police, officers spotted 22-year-old Jermaine Jones pulling out of Illusions Bar and cross the median on Route 130 near Fairbrook Drive near 2 a.m. After being pulled over, police said, officers discovered Mr. Jones had been drinking; they also discovered he was driving an unregistered vehicle.
Police added that Mr. Jones’ passenger, 32-year-old Wellington Philips, also of Trenton, took the vehicle’s keys and would not give them to the officers.
Mr. Jones was charged with the DWI, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving while suspended; Mr. Philips was charged with obstructing the administration of justice.
Both were released on their own recognizance, pending a court date.
Police charged Justin Dixon, 19, of West Third Street with possession of marijuana and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle at 8:39 p.m. Oct. 20.
According to police, officers were sent to the Sunoco gas station on Route 130 and Hornberger Avenue to check out a call of a man trying to sell a case of bottled water to passing motorists there. When they got there, police said, officers witnessed Mr. Dixon roll a marijuana cigarette.
A search of Mr. Dixon’s car uncovered four small bags of marijuana, police said. Mr. Dixon was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.
