Frances Parcinski
Frances Potocki Parcinski, 91, died Nov. 3 at home.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Parcinski was a lifelong Trenton and Lawrenceville resident.
She retired in 1972 after 30 years of service with the General Motors Inland Fisher Guide plant in Ewing Township.
She was a member of the Catholic War Veteran’s, Holy Cross post 417, Ladies Auxiliary; the Holy Cross of Innocents; the Holy Cross Crusaders; the Lawrence Seniors Club 2; the Trenton Polish-American Democratic Club; the Polish Falcons, Nest 59 Falconettes; and a member of St. Hedwig’s parish.
She was daughter of the late Paul and Katherine Kopec Potocki, wife of the late Theodore J. Parcinski, and sister of the late Stanley Potocki, John Potocki, Sophie Farina and Catherine Soganic.
She is survived by her seven sisters, Mary Wisniewski, Bertha Wargo, Lottie Repko, Helen Krol, Stephanie Szuter, Caroline Soss, all of Trenton, and Josephine Ratkiewicz of Levittown, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral was Saturday from the Winowicz Funeral Home, Adeline and Beatty streets.
Funeral Liturgy was Saturday in the Church of the Holy Cross with Msgr. Edward J. Arnister officiating.
Burial was in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are to be made to the Holy Cross Renovation Fund, 201 Adeline St., Trenton, NJ 08611.
Virginia Eagle
Virginia A. Eagle, 67, died Nov. 4 at home.
Born in Bristol, Pa., she lived in Hamilton before moving to Titusville 12 years ago.
She retired in 1984 after 10 years as a CPA with Milner Lumber in Trenton.
Daughter of the late Richard and Helen Povivich Hoin, wife of the late Joseph R. Eagle and mother of the late Darren Eagle and Laura Brandt, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Lynn Eagle of Roebling; and three daughters and two sons-in-law, Deborah Zuno of Roebling, Linda and Curt Simon of Titusville, with whom she lived, and Delilah and Chris Closson of Lawrenceville.
Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were Monday at the Lisiecki Memorial Home, 1028 N. Olden Ave., Trenton with the Rev. Jacek Labinski officiating.
Interment was in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Township.

Nicholas Bartolino
Nicholas J. Bartolino, 81, died Nov. 1 at home.
Born and raised in Princeton, he moved from the home he built there to his second home in Lawrence in 1975.
Mr. Bartolino owned his own painting business, "POW Contractors," for 20 years. He then went on to his second career as the Mercer County adjuster, from which he retired in 1987 after 25 years.
He was a captain in the Army National Guard and company commander of the Princeton contingent.
A member of Darby’s Rangers in World War II, he was captured at the battle of Anzio and served 16 months as a prisoner of war. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
He was a member and president of the Italian American Sportsmen Club, president of The Democratic Club and president of the Painter’s Local, all of Princeton. He also served as a board member on the Mercer County Board of Social Services. He enjoyed golf.
Son of the late Nicholas Sr. and Joanna Schannel Bartolino, brother of the late John and Anthony, he is survived by his wife, Rose Stasyszyn Bartolino; sons William and Robert and daughter Beverly, all of Lawrence; brother and sister-in-law Alex and Mary of West Windsor; sister Elizabeth Bartolino Descoteau of Lawrence; grandchildren Nicole and Brooke, both of Ewing; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Nov. 4.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Options Inc., 16 Farber Road, Princeton, NJ 08540, Attn. Robert Stads, for the continual care of Nicole Bartolino.
Arrangements were by Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
Mary Oakley
Mary V. Oakley, 96, died Friday in the Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, she had resided in Lawrenceville since 1953.
She was a member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society. Other memberships included the Slovak Union-Jednota Lodge and the Lawrence Township Senior Citizens Club 2.
Daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Kolodi Chebra, grandmother of the late Thomas M. Oakley III, mother-in-law of the late Roger Brown and Lorraine Oakley, and wife of the late Thomas M. Oakley Sr.; she is survived by two sons, Thomas M. Oakley Jr. of Trenton and John P. Oakley and his wife Angela of Lawrenceville; and three daughters, Dorothy Parker and her husband Edward of Hedding, Mary Brown of Hamilton, and Rita Formaroli and her husband Ted of Yardville.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Sophie Chebra; and several nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday in St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Trenton.
Burial was in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Hamilton.
Arrangements were by Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.

Julian Saltz
Julian Saltz, 79, died Sunday in the Capital Health System at Mercer, Trenton.
Born in Jamaica, N.Y., he was an electrical engineer who founded his company in 1970 called Datatest Inc. of Levittown, Pa.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a recipient of the Bronze Star.
He was an active member of the Child Placement Review Board of Mercer County, a member of Princeton Free Wheeler bicycle club, proud member of Racqueteers Racquet Ball Club, a freelance painter and an avid amateur pilot.
He is survived by his wife Norma Geckeler Saltz of Ewing Township; three daughters Denise Saltz of Collingswood, Jane Saltz of Hopatcong and Juliette Saltz of Princeton Junction; two sisters, Adele Vexler of Lawrenceville and Helen Jacobson of Hightstown.
Funeral services were Wednesday at the Star of David Memorial Chapel of Princeton, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
Burial was in Princeton Cemetery, Princeton.

Matthew Erdie
Matthew J. Erdie, 43, died Sunday in the Cooper University Medical Center in Camden.
Born in Trenton, and a former Lawrenceville resident, he had resided in Hamilton for five years.
He was currently employed by the New Jersey Department of Transportation as an engineering technician.
He was a 1979 graduate of Notre Dame High School and was selected to the All-State Parochial Football Team in 1978.
He attended Moravian College on a full football scholarship.
He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Sons of the American Legion Post 414 Lawrence Township, Trenton Polish American Democratic Club, Lacy Township B.P.O.E. Lodge 2518 and the Merry Go Round Breakfast Club.
He played baseball and basketball for the Trenton Police Athletic League and the Lawrence Township Babe Ruth League. He was an outstanding catcher and enjoyed fishing and vacationing.
He is survived by his parents Jule M. Erdie and Patricia Stott Erdie, three brothers Julius Michael Erdie Jr. and his wife Dawn Guhl, John J. Erdie and his wife Denise, and Patrick Stott Erdie and his wife Katherine, and a sister Mary Ellen Erdie.
Also surviving are his fiancée Jayne Karney and three nephews Philip A. Prassas, Isabella Guhl-Erdie and William Guhl-Erdie.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday from Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. in the Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville.
Burial will be in the Lawrenceville Cemetery. Friends may call 5-9 p.m. today Thursday at the funeral home.
