ELECTION RESULTS

Results from local municipal races in Tuesday night’s election.

Following are the unofficial results of local municipal races. Incumbents are denoated by an asterik (*) and winners are listed in bold except where the races are close enough that absentee ballots could change the outcome. These results do not include absentee ballots. On Tuesday night, Republican candidates were poised to win the four available Township Committee seats in Mansfield Township and Republican candidates seemed likely to win in Bordentown Township and New Hanover as well. In North Hanover, with absentee ballots still uncounted, the race was close but Nancy Morrow, a Democrat, and Paul Bruni, Republican, had garnered the most votes at the polls. In Chesterfield and Fieldsboro, Democratic incumbents held onto their committee and council seats.
