MANVILLE Eugeniusz Klimek died June 5 at home. He was 74.
Born in Jelenie, Poland, he lived in Manville for the past 25 years.
Mr. Klimek worked as a heavy equipment mechanic at Metz Metalurgical in South Plainfield for 16 years, retiring in 2003.
He was a member of The Polish Falcons Organization in Hillsborough.
He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
Surviving are his wife, Izabela Klimek; one daughter, Anita Mente of Hillsborough; a son, Edmund of Wroclaw, Poland; two brothers, Bronislaw of Wroclaw and Mieczyslaw of Jelenie.
A funeral service was held June 11 from Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville followed by a Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
