Sunday at about 2 a.m., Reuben Strouse, 51, of Alexauken Creek Road, Lambertville, was charged with drunken driving, refusing to take a breath test, falling to keep right, two counts of reckless driving and having an unregistered vehicle.
Mr. Strouse was stopped for failing to keep right on Bridge Street, police said.
He was released without bail.
June 16 at about 3:30 p.m., there was an accident Route 29.
Edward O’Donnell, 56, of Mt. Ephraim, N.J., and David Crabtree, 78, of West Caldwell, N.J., were involved.
Mr. Crabtree told police he fell asleep and crossed over the grass median, striking Mr. O’Donnell’s vehicle.
Both drivers were taken to Hunterdon Medical Center for evaluation.
Mr. Crabtree was charged with careless driving and failure to maintain lane.
Both vehicles were towed.
June 15 at about 7:30 p.m., police arrested Steven Spano, 43, of Doylestown on a motor vehicle warrant from Point Pleasant Beach for $135.
Mr. Spano also was charged with speeding for going 55 mph in a 40-mph zone on Route 29.
He was released after posting bail.
June 15 at about 11 p.m., on Route 29 in front of police headquarters, a man was yelling and jumping in front of passing vehicles, police said.
Police saw Jesse Panyko, 21, of Rosemont Avenue, Lambertville, walking in the road in the lane of traffic.
He was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest for not letting police handcuff him.
He was taken to Hunterdon City Jail on $750 bail.
Sunday at about 5 p.m., police arrested Heather Berman, 27, of Sellersville, Pa., on a criminal warrant out of Pennsauken Municipal Court for failing to appear for a prostitution charge.
Bail was $205.
Ms. Berman was stopped for going 58 mph in a 40-mph zone on Route 29.
She also was charged with speeding and driving with a suspended license and released without bail.
June 3, police arrested Gregory Rapp, 40, of Lahaska, Pa., and charged him with drunken driving and careless driving after the vehicle he was operating was involved in a traffic accident on Waterloo Street.
Saturday at 12:45 p.m., there was a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 263 and Sugan Road.
The accident happened when a vehicle driven by Cassandra DaCosta, 19, of Wellington Road, Doylestown, was making a left turn from Route 263 onto Sugan Road. Her vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Michael Virgulti, 52, of Holicong Road, New Hope.
Both vehicles were towed.
June 15 at 2:15 a.m., there was a one-vehicle accident at the intersection of Aquetong and Lower Mountain roads.
The vehicle, a BMW driven by David E. Strong, 32, of Lower Mountain Road, was going west on Lower Mountain Road, didn’t stop at the stop sign, crossed into the eastbound lane and hit the embankment.
No injuries were reported in the accident. The vehicle had to be towed.
Mr. Strong was charged with drunken driving under the influence and various traffic violations.
He was taken to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
June 14 at 10 a.m., there was a one-vehicle accident on Route 263, north of Aquetong Road.
A vehicle driven by John W. Hager, 74, of Tall Cedar Court, Pipersville, Pa., was going south on Route 263, went off the right side of the road, crossed over to the northbound lane, hit the embankment and rolled over.
Mr. Hager was taken to Doylestown Hospital by the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad. The vehicle was towed.
Monday at 7:30 a.m., there was a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Mechanicsville and Aquetong roads.
A vehicle driven by Thomas A. Holmes, 81, of Meetinghouse Road, New Hope, was stopped at the stop sign. He pulled into the intersection and struck a westbound pickup truck on Mechanicsville Road driven by Misael G. Lopez, 25, of Narrows Hill Road, Upper Black Eddy, Pa.
The Lopez vehicle went to the right and struck the third vehicle, a station wagon stopped at the intersection and driven by Kevin J. Sasala, 29, of Parkside Drive, Dublin, Pa.
No injuries were reported in the accident.
June 16, police investigated a reported identity theft and credit card fraud of a Mountain Road resident.
The victim discovered his identity has been used when he started receiving late notices in the mail.
To date, $10,000 has been charged to him with fraudulent credit cards, police said.
Police warn residents to take mail with any personal information on it to the post office. Do not put it in home mailboxes.
Monday at 3:30 p.m., there was a two-vehicle traffic accident on Route 202 at Shire Drive.
A sedan exiting the shopping center stopped for traffic, It was driven by Donna M. Griffith, 45, of West Amwell. Her vehicle was struck from behind by one driven by Lisa R. Orrell, 52, of Chapel Road, New Hope.
No injuries were reported.
