Princeton HealthCare System recently honored 18 employees who have 30 or more years of service with a reception at the Hyatt Regency Princeton.
About 425 employees attended the event, including sisters Hettie Dean and Daisy Hubbard, two PHCS employees with 97 years’ combined experience.
Ms. Dean, a Princeton resident, has worked for University Medical Center at Princeton for 51 years, the longest tenure of any employee in the hospital’s 86-year history. A senior nursing assistant in the hospital’s surgical recovery room, she joined the hospital in 1954, PHCS said.
Ms. Hubbard, a resident of Hopewell, is a senior unit secretary in the hospital. She will celebrate her 46th anniversary in September.
PHCS honors employees when they reach their five-year anniversary as well as every five years thereafter.
Joan Gilliard of Trenton, a senior secretary in environmental services, was honored for 40 years.
Those honored for 35 years of service include John Lloyd of Trenton, administrative director, respiratory services, UMCP; Elsie Quigley of Trenton, mailroom clerk, print and duplication, UMCP; and Consuela Ullah of Trenton, licensed practical nurse, Princeton House Behavioral Health.

Pine of Princeton, department of medicine, UMCP; Theresa Shea of Levittown, Pa., patient financial services, UMCP; and Gerda Spencer of Hopewell, volunteer services, UMCP.
