Ida Mae Smith, 84, of Pennington died at home on Sept. 18.
Born in Hamilton, Tenn., she grew up in Liberty Corner.
She lived in Anaheim, Calif., for many years with her late husband, Henry K. Smith, who worked at El Toro Marine Base as a fireman. She resided for the past eight years in Pennington with her now late husband and son, Henry E. Smith.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a sister, Arlene Conrad of Monroe Township; five children, John Andre of Frostproof, Fla., Barbara Giaquinto of Fruitland Park, Fla., George Andre of Hillsborough, and JoAnn DiDario and Henry E. Smith, both of Pennington; two sisters-in-law, Catherine Brown of Oroville, Calif., and Olive Levisay of Phillipsburg; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great- granddaughter; other family members and friends; and three dogs, Bluegirl, Brownie and Baby.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St., Pennington, with the Rev. James Hofacker, pastor of the Pennington United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Brig. General William C. Doyle Cemetery, Arneytown.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 7-9 p.m.
