Edmund S. Napiorkowski, 81, of Hopewell died Sunday at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
Born in Perth Amboy, Mr. Napiorkowski was a resident of Trenton prior to moving to Hopewell. He was a heavy equipment operator with Local #825.
Preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Anna Napiorkowski, his first wife Leona D. Wheeler, second wife Louise Dufayel, brothers John and Mitch Napiorkowski and sister Mamie Burns, he is survived by daughters Cathy Vassello and her husband Frank of Kingwood Township and Ellie Napiorkowski of East Amwell; sons, Richard and his wife Chris of Ringoes, Edmund S. Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Hopewell and Bruce and his wife Clare of Titusville; a sister Irene Dombroski of Florida; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Hopewell. A committal service will follow at Ewing Crematory Chapel.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St., Hopewell.
