Charles Thomas Sr.
   EAST WINDSOR — Charles Thomas Sr., 60, died Sept. 29 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.
   Born in New Brunswick, he lived in East Windsor the past 28 years. He was manager the past 22 years of Wynbrook West in East Windsor for Kreigman and Smith Property Management of Roseland.
   Mr. Thomas was a veteran of the Navy, serving during the Vietnam era. He was a guitarist for more than 50 years, having played with many local bands in New Brunswick during the late 1950s and ’60s. While in the Navy he played with the band, Howling Hounds, aboard the USS Randolph.
   Surviving are his wife, Mary Doosey Thomas; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles Jr. and Amanda Thomas of Malvern, Pa; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Raymond Yaros of East Windsor and Kelly and Fred Cohen of Columbus; and four grandchildren, Amanda Lynn Yaros, Zachary Raymond Yaros, Quinn Zoey Cohen and Xavier Thomas Cohen.
   Funeral services were held Monday at Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick, followed by a mass at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church in New Brunswick.
   Interment followed in St. Peter’s Cemetery in New Brunswick.

Annie Dicke
   HIGHTSTOWN — Annie Dicke, 85, the former Annie Henderson McRory Currie, died Saturday at her residence at Meadow Lakes in Hightstown.
   She was born in Barrow-in-Furnace, England. By the time she was 4 years old, she had also lived in Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
   She was the wife of Robert Henry Dicke, who predeceased her in 1997. She and Mr. Dicke settled in Princeton in 1946.
   In addition to being a homemaker, wife and mother, she was active in the Princeton University League, the Present Day Club and other local organizations.
   She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Rapoport of South Hadley, Mass.; sons John Dicke of Wrightsville, Pa. and Jim Dicke of Pemberton; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
   A private burial will take place at Princeton Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be scheduled for a future date.
