Dennis J. Wheeler, 36, of Monroe, died Saturday, Feb. 4, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge.
Born in Perth Amboy, he lived in Spotswood before moving to Monroe one year ago. He worked for Wawa in Old Bridge, and prior to that he worked as a gas-station attendant for Sunoco in Old Bridge.
His father, Edward B. Wheeler, died in 1997, and his mother, Joan Catherine Mortensen Wheeler, died Jan. 31, 2004. He is survived by his four brothers, Edward B. and his wife, Donna Wheeler, of Old Bridge, Thomas A. Wheeler of Spotswood, Charles A. Wheeler and George E. Wheeler, both of Monroe; and three nieces, Joan Fedeli, Catherine and Sarah Wheeler.
Services were held at Thursday, Feb. 9, at Sayreville Memorial Funeral Home, 341 Washington Road, Sayreville.
