Mattie Bell Engram, who was born on May 17, 1936 in Enterprise, Ala., died March 7 at Capital Health System, Fuld Campus.
She spent her early years in Jacksonville, Fla., and later moved to Pennington. Educated in the Hopewell Township school system, she retired from North Princeton Developmental Center as an assistant supervisor of resident living in 1993 after 38 years of service.
Predeceased by her parents Willie R. and Nellie Bell Engram Wheeler, she is survived by a son James M. Engram; two grandchildren, Leilani Patrice Engram and Michael Robert Engram all of Trenton; one sister, Annie P. Mathis of Tampa, Fla.; a host of nieces and nephews; two sisterly friends, Virginia Spell and Edith Wilson of Trenton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton. Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery.
