Locals to appear at Blues Guitar event

John Bushnell, Chris Grace and Joe D’Angelo will perform

By John Tredrea
Guitarist John Bushnell, bassist Chris Grace and drummer Joe D’Angelo will appear as a trio this Friday night at the Ernie White-hosted History of Blues Guitar, Part II, at the Conduit Club in Trenton.
Messrs. Bushnell and Grace live in Pennington. Mr. D’Angelo lives in Hopewell Township. All have been professional musicians for decades, playing with many different bands, and all three appeared several months ago at Mr. White’s History of Blues Guitar Part I, also at the Conduit. That event sold out, with several hundred people turned away.
As was the case with Part I, the History of the Blues Guitar Part II will feature performances by bands led by Mr. White, Paul Plumeri and Joe Zook as well as the Bushnell-Grace-D’Angelo trio from Hopewell Valley. All these musicians are well-established in this area with strong followings.
The show starts at 8 p.m. You must be 21 and show proof of age to enter. Tickets are $15 and must be purchased in advance. The Conduit Club is at 439 S. Broad St., near the Sovereign Bank Arena. Tickets can be purchased online at www.conduitmusic.com.
