Lorrie Findra, 84, of Pennington died suddenly on Feb. 17.
A watercolor artist, she painted every day and was preparing her watercolors for an upcoming Cranbury Art and Craft Festival.
Born in Rahway, she grew up in Avenel and attended high school at St. Peter’s Catholic in New Brunswick, graduating in 1940. She moved to Pennington in 1987.
Ms. Findra began her career at Elizabeth Gas and Electric. Later, she became a sales representative for the Shaw-Walker Company, headquartered in Newark. She stayed with Shaw-Walker, for which she sold payroll and computer systems, until retirement.
Ms. Findra is survived by her children, Marguerite Breen of Pennington, John Findra of Skillman, and Martin Findra of Milltown; two daughters-in-law, Patricia Boyea Findra and Geraldine Herbst Findra; and three granddaughters, Jacqueline Findra, Justine Findra and Katharine Breen.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave, Pennington.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service in the Gathering Area of the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Church to help the parish purchase a new organ.
