Radcliff W. Van Dyke
   Radcliff W. "Dykie" Van Dyke, 81, of Hopewell Township, died at his home on Saturday.
   Born in Titusville, he had been a resident of the area all of his life.
   A graduate of Hopewell Township Central High School, Class of 1944, he served with the U.S. Army in Korea during the Korean Conflict. He was a self-employed builder and carpenter.
   He was a member of Titusville United Methodist Church and its senior group. He served as a scoutmaster of Troop 42 of Pennington and was a member of Trenton Cyrus Lodge, No. 5 of Pennington. He was a Trustee of the Woosamonsa School House Association, He and his wife, Olive, enjoyed dancing at the school house dances. He was a trustee of the Harbourton Cemetery and past post commander of VFW Post No. 829 of Pennington.
   Son of the late Radcliff and Emily Hart Van Dyke, and brother of the late Dick and Betty Ann Van Dyke, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Olive Burd Van Dyke; a son Clifton Frederick Van Dyke; and daughter, Jane Edna Van Dyke; a brother Lester Van Dyke; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 North Main St., Pennington, with the Rev. Linda Hale, pastor of the Titusville United Methodist Church, officiating.
   Interment will be in Harbourton Cemetery.
   Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of the services at the Memorial Home.

Wilma Kukura Noonan
   Wilma Kukura Noonan, 90, of Titusville died Saturday at her son’s home.
   Born in New York, she had resided in Titusville for 60 years.
   She was a member of St. George’s Roman Catholic Church in Titusville.
   Daughter of the late Henry and Marie Kukura and wife of the late William F. Noonan Sr., she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William F. Jr. and Karen Eva Noonan of High Bridge; a granddaughter, Christina George of Langhorne, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
   A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St. George’s Roman Catholic Church, Route 29, Titusville.
   Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery.
   There will be no calling hours.

Walter A. Schenck
   Walter A. Schenck, 90, of Pennington died March 24 at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
   Born in Kingston, he was a longtime resident of Hightstown and Pennington.
   A graduate Princeton High School, he was a 40-year agent with the Prudential Life Insurance Company and member of their " Old Guard". He was the recipient of many sales honors throughout his career.
   He was a member of the Hightstown Methodist Church, the Society of Odd Fellows and a volunteer with the Civil Defense Corps during World War II.
   Predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Margaret Schenck of Monmouth Junction; three brothers Charles, Howard and George, and two sisters Mary Schenck and Margaret Raduzycki, he is survived by his wife of nearly 70 years, Doris Daley Schenck; two daughters Carole Kimnach and her husband Wilson of Woodbridge, Conn., and Sandra Cranstoun and her husband Richard of Elk Grove Village, Ill.; grandchildren, Jonathan Kimnach and his wife Cassandra of Perkasie, Pa., Sarah Hains and her husband Tom of Swampscott, Mass., Christopher Cranstoun and his wife Kelly, Jeffrey Cranstoun and his wife Jamie, Jennifer and David Cranstoun, all from Illinois; great-grandchildren, Colin and Carson Kimnach and Haley and Samantha Cranstoun; a niece Beverly Hobbs and her husband Kenneth of Helmetta; and several other nieces and nephews.
   Graveside services will be held in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown, on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James Hofacker, pastor of the Pennington United Methodist Church, officiating.
   The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St., Pennington.

Barbara Nugent
   Barbara Nugent, 62, of Canton, Ga., formerly of Hopewell, died March 20.
   Born in Providence, R.I., she attended Bucknell University. She was an elementary music teacher in Hamilton Township for nearly 30 years and was an avid supporter of high school interscholastic athletics.
   After retiring and moving to Canton, she tutored children in reading in a volunteer program, was a founding member of the Bridge Mill Sixes Service League, a leader in the BSSL-sponsored MUST summer lunch program, and assisted as a volunteer with BEATS, a local hippotherapy program.
   Predeceased by her father, Elmer Franklin Marlor Jr., she is survived by her husband, David Nugent; daughters Kristin Nugent and fiancé Juan Pablo Vergara of Santiago, Chile, and Bethany and husband Michael Butler of Woodstock, Ga.; her mother, Anna Marlor of Telford, Pa.; sisters, Marjorie Herz of Quakertown, Pa., and Gwendolyn Jordan of Telford, Pa.; a brother Frank Marlor of Spring Hill, Fla.; a granddaughter, Macayla Lynne Butler; and several nieces and nephews.
   Services in her memory, led by her cousin, the Rev. Nancy Muth, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Langtree School in Hamilton.
   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cherokee County Animal Shelter (send checks made out to CCASA to 131 Chattin Drive, Canton, Ga., 30115); or to the hippotherapy scholarship fund for BEATS, 1704 Winston Court, Woodstock, Ga., 30189.
Paul and Nancy Schmetzer
   The interment of Paul William Schmetzer and his wife, Nancy Allen Schmetzer, of Pennington and Fairhope, Ala., will be held at 3 p.m. April 3 in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
   Paul Schmetzer, who died Aug. 17, 2006, was a veteran of World War II and had been a prisoner of war. He received a Purple Heart and the Bronze Medal. He retired from the State of New Jersey.
   Nancy Schmetzer died May 8, 2004. She had been a homemaker and a part-time secretary while volunteering in the community and her church.
   The Schmetzers, who had been married nearly 60 years, are survived by a son and daughter-in law, Allen and Jacklyn Schmetzer of Ashburn, Va.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Penny S. and Diethard Dainert of Fairhope, Ala., and Bad Homburg, Germany, and Sally S. and Carter Brown of Fairhope, Ala.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
   Friends are invited to attend the ceremony beginning at the Old Post Chapel at Fort Meyer and continuing with the military graveside service at Arlington National Cemetery.
