Josephine J. Bac Tiffenbach, 82, of Hamilton Township died March 8 at the Capital Health System, Fuld Campus.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Tiffenbach was a lifelong Trenton and Hamilton Township resident. She retired in 1986 after 19 years of service with the State of New Jersey, Department of Personnel.
She was a member of the Hamilton Four Season’s Seniors and enjoyed bowling in the Hamilton Senior’s Bowling League.
Daughter of the late George and Marianna Wrobel Bac, mother of the late James Tiffenbach, and sister of the late John Bac and Helen Malinowski, she is survived by her husband of 61 years, Frank J. Tiffenbach; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Steven F. and Elaine Tiffenbach of Highland Ranch, Colo., and David and Eileen Tiffenbach of South Plainfield; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan and William Cirullo of Pennington and Judy and Michael Balint of Robbinsville; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Wanda Jantz of Lansing, Mich., and Sophia and husband Pete SaFranko of Lawrenceville; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday from the Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Ave.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Hedwig’s Church with the Rev. Dr. Jacek Labinski presiding.
Burial will be in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Ewing Township.
Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. today (Monday) at the funeral chapel.
