Diana L. Trent
EAST WINDSOR Diana L. Trent, 37, died March 29 after a long illness.
Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she was raised in Jersey City and had been a resident of East Windsor the past 12 years.
Ms. Trent was a 1987 graduate of St. Dominic’s Academy in Jersey City. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1992 and was the senior class president. She then went on to receive her master’s degree in engineering management from NJIT in 1998.
Ms. Trent was a founding sister of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority.
She began her working career at Fluor Daniel in Marlton as a mechanical engineer for five years. Subsequently, she worked for Merck and Company in Rahway for 10 years, most recently as a project manager.
She is survived by her husband of 12 years, David E. Trent; son Ryan D. Trent; her father and stepmother, Glenn L. and Suzanne VanDerWende of Solebury, Pa,; her mother, Susan J. Pignata of Cranbury; two brothers, Gerard Pignata and his wife, Jennifer, of Marlboro and Nicholas VanDerWende of Solebury, Pa.; sister Dawn VanDerWende of Solebury; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond D. and Virginia J. Trent of Dayton.
The funeral service was held at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, Cranbury.

Elbert John Minarcik
EAST WINDSOR Elbert John Minarcik. 90, died March 23 at the Francis Parker Memorial Home.
He was employed by the National Lead Company for 42 years and retired as its technical director. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown, was active in the Republican Party of East Windsor, and was an Oddfellow.
He enjoyed stamp collecting, his Dalmatians, and his alma mater, Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.
He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mary; sister Ruth Fischer; his first wife, Hazel (Wicks); his second wife, Alice (Marvin Combes); and stepdaughter Nancy Combes.
He was survived by son Alan (Clare) Minarcik; daughters Barbara Minarcik and Kathi (Frank) Ogoreuc; and step-children George (Sue) Combes; and Bill (Ruth) Combes; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. April 13 at the First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown, 320 N. Main St.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the memorial fund of the First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown in his memory.

Dr. Lillian Tenney services
A memorial service for Dr. Lillian Baum Tenney of Princeton, who died Feb. 23, will be held 3 p.m. April 14 in Princeton University Chapel followed by a reception at Prospect House on the university campus.
The service was originally scheduled for March 17 but was postponed because of a storm.
A Princeton resident since 1953, Dr. Tenney was a psychiatrist with a private practice in Lawrence Township. She had many patients from the East Windsor-Hightstown area. She also taught and practiced psychiatry at Rutgers University.
