CHESTERFIELD Veronica "Ronnie" Lipiarski, 69, died after a stroke May 8 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Allen Murphy, she grew up in Burlington City and was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Trenton. For most of her life she resided with her family in Bordentown City.
Until recently, she operated Ronnie’s Newsstand at the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry, Trenton. She had previously worked for several years at the Bordentown Register-News.
Ms. Lipiarski was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Lynn; her parents; and a sister, Mary Homan, whose children are James, Jean and Donna. She is survived by a sister, Eileen Murphy Atkinson (Albert) of Denville and children Thomas and Mary; daughter Eileen Olah (Kenneth) of Plumsted Township and children Christopher, Jessica and Melissa Newman and Sonny Olah; son Paul Lipiarski (Shirley) of Hemet, Calif., and children Heather, Eric and Krislyn; daughter Barbara Gilmer (John) and son Cody of Wrightstown; son Joseph Lipiarski (Justine) of Glen Mills, Pa., and sons Nathan and Alden; her former husband Paul Lipiarski Jr. of Marlton; and close friend and companion Ed Fowler of Chesterfield.
Funeral services were Saturday the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown.
Interment followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bordentown.

James Kapsimalis
MANSFIELD James Kapsimalis, 81, of Columbus, died May 7 at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice in Mount Holly.
Born in Newark, Mr. Kapsimalis was a resident of Hillsborough for 35 years before moving to Columbus 12 years ago.
Son of the late John and Christina Kapsimalis, and brother of the late Tina Giroukos, Virginia Stavrou and Betty Damascus, he is survived by his wife, Edith Kapsimalis; two sons, John and Michael J. Kapsimalis; one daughter, Nina Kapsimalis; six grandchildren, Chelsea, Jessica, Roger, Christina, Nicholas and Holly; one brother, Peter Kapsimalis; two sisters, Jean Chirgotis and Toula Tzuclaris; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held privately, at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown.
Michael R. Santarsiero
MANSFIELD Michael R. Santarsiero, 88, died May 10 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis.
Born in Trenton, he eventually retired to Columbus at Homestead.
Mr. Santarsiero worked many years for the U.S. Postal Service.
He served in the U.S. Air Corps during World War II.
Son of the late Lucy Tanzone and Rocco Santarsiero, he was predeceased by his brothers Peter, Daniel, Joseph and Anthony "Sharkey" Santarsiero, and his sisters Mildred Shipley, Angelina Acolia, Josephine Massaro and Catherine Delmar. He is survived by his wife, Lucy Fausti Santarsiero; two daughters, Lois Bogdan of Hopewell and Nancy Johnston and her husband Kenneth of Moorestown; two granddaughters, Marci Bogdan Thomas and her husband Jeffrey of Hamilton and Erika Johnston of Melbourne, Australia; a brother Frank Santarsiero of Hamilton; three sisters, Madeline Pica, Louise Smout and Betty Nonni, all of Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday at St. Joachims Church, Trenton.
Burial was in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, Hamilton.
Jennifer Van Hise
NEW HANOVER Jennifer Van Hise, 21, of Cookstown died May 9 from complications of cystic fibrosis.
After graduating from Bordentown Regional High School, she began college at Rider University. As a junior at Seton Hall University, she was majoring in social work and English.
Ms. Van Hise was a counselor at Camp Marcella in Rockaway, a summer camp for visually impaired children, where she had been a camper for several years. She also played on the New Jersey State Goalball Team.
She is survived by her parents, Joann and Carl; her younger sister, Stephanie, 19, and her older sister, Megan, 22.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Groveville United Methodist Church in Groveville.
Interment was in Groveville Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the CF Foundation at Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Greater New Jersey Chapter, 117 Kinderkamack Road, Rivers Edge, NJ 08661.
Arrangements were under the direction of Kutch Funeral Home, Trenton.
W. Edward Van Horn
BORDENTOWN W. Edward "Ed" Van Horn, 93, died Friday at Care One in Hamilton Township.
Born in New Egypt, he was a lifetime area resident before moving to Bordentown to live with his daughter seven years ago.
Mr. Van Horn was a retired custodian with the East Windsor Regional School District. He also worked at the Philadelphia Navy Yard during World War II. He was the local milkman and owned a grocery store in New Egypt for many years, and also had owned a marina in Beach Haven.
He was a life member of the New Egypt Volunteer Fire Company, a 60-year member of the New Egypt United Methodist Church, a 50-year Master Mason with the Pyramid Lodge 92 F. & A.M., and he was a member of the Hightstown TP8’s Camping Club.
Husband of the late Dorothy Van Horn, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Barbara Van Horn of Robbinsville; a daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Thomas Scudder of Bordentown; four grandchildren, Matthew Scudder and wife Mindy of Allentown, Amanda McElwain and husband Michael of Cookstown, and Christopher Van Horn and Kate Van Horn, both of Robbinsville; and three great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Abigail Scudder and Audrey McElwain.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt, with Pastor Kim Wecht officiating.
Burial followed in the Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown.

Ann M. Blakeslee
ESSEX FELLS Ann M. Blakeslee, 87, of Essex Fells, died Tuesday at Van Dyke Manor, Montclair.
Born in Trenton, the daughter of the late Stanley and Elizabeth Janulewicz Filipowicz, she resided in Roebling for 65 years before moving to Essex Fells recently.
She was a member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church, Roebling, and a founding member of Holy Assumption School PTA.
Wife of the late E. Harold Blakeslee and sister of the late John Filipowicz, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Ann and Travis Hutchinson of Essex Fells; two sisters, Helen Swinuichowski and Gene Strano of Trenton; two grandchildren and their spouses, David and Leslie Hutchinson of Herndon, Va., Peter and Maryann Hutchinson of Essex Fells; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Geri Pierce of Roebling.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Assumption Catholic Church, 1290 Hornberger Ave., Roebling, with the Rev. Albert Ricciardelli officiating.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call Friday from 9 a.m. until church departure at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave., Roebling.

Elsie Marshall Lane Craft
A memorial service for Elsie Marshall Lane Craft, who died April 7 at the age of 88, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at the Columbus Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, William, David, Richard and Paul Craft, Rosemary DeLaCruz and Michelle Ferrell.
Timothy Patrick McCoy
BORDENTOWN Timothy Patrick McCoy, 58, died Sunday at home.
Born in Trenton, he grew up in Morrisville, Pa. In 1978, he moved to Bordentown, where he had lived ever since.
In 1967, Mr. McCoy enlisted into the U.S. Army. During the Vietnam War he served with the 101st Airborne Division and the Elite 5th Special Forces Unit. After serving three tours in Vietnam, he was honorably discharged in 1970 and received numerous awards and medals, including the Vietnam Service Medal with six Bronze Stars, and expert (M-14) and sharpshooter (M-16) awards.
He was employed by the Wackenhut Corp. as a certified security officer, and worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Nassau Park facility in Princeton.
Mr. McCoy was well known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He had a natural ability to tell jokes and make people laugh. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, and enjoyed listening to oldies and classic rock ‘n’ roll music. He was an avid toy car collector, especially cars from the 1950s era and various V-Twin motorcycles.
Predeceased by his mother and father, Mary Lou Plate and Leon H. McCoy Jr., he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Norma C. McCoy of Bordentown; his son, Jason Patrick McCoy of Fairless Hills, Pa.; his daughter and son-in-law, Lauren Ann and Marwan Mokhtar of Plainsboro; a sister and brother-in-law, Marilee McCoy-Ryan and Bill Ryan; one niece, Marilyn Longstreet, and four nephews, S. Edward and Daniel G. Longstreet, all from Bordentown, Alan R. Longstreet of Hamilton, and Nathan T. Longstreet of Roebling; and a stepfather, George R. Tomlinson of Naples, Fla.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Bordentown Home for Funerals, 40 Crosswicks St., Bordentown.
Interment will follow at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
Calling hours will be held today from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Stephen M. Hornyak Sr.
PLUMSTED Stephen M. Hornyak Sr., 79, died Saturday at his home.
Born in Trenton, he resided there most of his life before moving to Plumsted 14 years ago.
A World War II U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Hornyak retired from the Trenton Police Department as a police lieutenant where he also served as treasurer for the Trenton police PBA.
He enjoyed playing cards and golfing, and in his younger years was an avid tennis player.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Frances; two children and their spouses, Carol and Howard Wedekind of Yardley, Pa., and Stephen II and Donna Hornyak of Columbus; four grandchildren, Christian and Elizabeth Wedekind and Nicholas and Daniel Hornyak; three sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Sophie and Jacob Wolf of Jupiter, Fla., Jennie Romanosky of Kingston, Pa., and Edna Mendygral of Lee Park, Pa., as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
Interment followed in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.

Robert A. Wilson
Robert A. "Bob" Wilson, 69, of Hightstown and Long Beach Island, died May 10 of cancer.
He received his education in the Hightstown school system and the Peddie School and played soccer and basketball for both schools. He attended Rider College and served in the New Jersey National Guard. He continued playing basketball in recreation leagues throughout his young adulthood.
Mr. Wilson was president of Gordon & Wilson Co., the family business that was established in 1935.
He was a member of the Hightstown Lions Club, Jaycees, and coached St. Anthony’s CYO basketball.
He divided his time between Hightstown and his home on Long Beach Island, where he loved the beach. Upon his retirement, he traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Caribbean, with Switzerland being his favorite destination.
Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Betty Wilson, he is survived by his life partner, Carol Erickson; three children, Robert Jr. of Bordentown, Scott and his wife Laurie of Lawrence Township, and Lori and her husband Tim Huck of Orlando, Fla.; six grandchildren, Erin, Jonathan, Collin, Bryan and Aidan Wilson and Jordan Huck; his former wife, Nancy Wilson of Plainsboro; his sister, Jeri Wilson and her friend Lil Blazakis of East Windsor; and several cousins.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown.
Private cremation followed.
