NORTH BRUNSWICK Martin Lefkin died May 13 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 67.
Born in New York City, he lived in Brooklyn and moved to North Plainfield in 1965 before settling in North Brunswick 18 years ago.
Mr. Lefkin worked as a plumber for many years for Triangle Plumbing in Mountainside.
His brother, Arthur Lefkin, is deceased.
Surviving are his wife, Florence (Chany) Lefkin; a son, Peter of Hillsborough; one daughter, Stacy Silberman of Baltimore, and a sister, Shiela Hyams of Pa.; and two grandchildren.
A funeral service was held May 15 from Hillsborough Funeral Home in Hillsborough with Cantor Ted Labow officiating. Burial was in Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.
