Eleanor Johnson

   Eleanor "Elena" Ann Johnson, 85, died Sunday, June 17, at her niece’s home in Hillsborough.
   Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Middlebush, Belle Mead and Manville before moving to Rossmoor 25 years ago. She worked for Columbia Air Craft in Somerville and was also a hairdresser many years ago. Most recently she was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing.
   Her husband, Orrok, died in 2004. Her brothers, Carmine, Michael, John and Albert, and her sisters, Philomena and Josephine, also are deceased. She is survived by her sister, Virginia, and her husband, Joseph Crivello; 18 nieces and nephews; 31 great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
   A funeral service was held Thursday, June 21, at Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 Route 206, Hillsborough. Burial was at Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 116 South Euclid Ave., Westfield, N.J. 07090.
