Video, cable company opens new location

By:
RBC Cable Technologies, Inc., a firm specializing in cabling and design services for audio, video and data communications, opened a new, 6,000-square foot plant June 1 at 152 Route 206 South.
The facility houses a Demonstration Theatre, opening in July, that features a complete stand-alone room so customers to see exactly how the firm’s products can be used in their homes.
Also included is the latest projector and sound equipment with lighting control and seating.
"This concept is completely unique, as it enables the customer to live the experience rather than imagine it, which is very exciting," Company President Ray Bindus said.
The new location will also allow the company to warehouse a larger inventory of common products and components to better meet client needs. Additionally, there is a special area to prestage equipment.
"This new space will be used to set up apparatus for testing and programming before delivery," Mr. Bindus said, "allowing us to ensure efficiency and reduced costs at the installation site. As a result, customers will be able to enjoy a custom application just that much quicker."
RBC Technologies, Inc. specializes in a wide range of reliable, cost-effective, data, audio and video infrastructure services, including home theatres, media rooms, and data centers. The company had been based in Lebanon, before the Hillsborough location opened.
