Sumi-e painting to be held

   SOLEBURY — Sunday, Oct. 14, from 2 to 4 p.m., the Bucks County Audubon Society at Honey Hollow and James A. Michener Art Museum will host a program about “Sumi-e Painting,” the Asian art of brush painting.
   The key is balance, rhythm and harmony. Learn to use the “Four Treasures” — the ink sumi, grinding stone suzuri, brush fude and Paper kami.
   Instructor Christine Tokugaw will teach about sumi-e while the group works from nature to create a series of sumi-e paintings.
   The cost is $20 for Michener and Audubon members and $25 for others.
