BORDENTOWN CITY

   Adam Watkins, 33, of Cape Coral, Fla., was charged Oct. 31 with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Police were called to Farnsworth Avenue and Park Street at 8:25 p.m. by a mother walking with her children, who reported a suspicious man following trick-or-treaters. She told police that the man had used profanity and police noted that he slurred his words and appeared to be intoxicated, police said.
   After being charged and released, Mr. Watkins jumped on a trashcan in the foyer of police headquarters and banged his head, damaging the can. He was then charged with criminal mischief.

   Myatt Anderson, 59, of Bordentown City, was charged with shoplifting Nov. 1. Boyd’s Pharmacy reported a man had walked out with a bottle of vodka under his clothing without paying for it. Mr. Anderson was found and claimed to have purchased the bottle the day before, but was identified by store employees.

   Clothing valued at $185 was reported stolen from the Bordentown Laundromat in the 300 block of Farnsworth Avenue on Nov. 4 at 8:06 p.m. The victim claimed she had put her clothing in a washing machine, left, and returned to find it missing.

MANSFIELD

   Russell Johnson, 38, of Trenton, was charged Nov. 7 with driving while intoxicated. Police had stopped Mr. Johnson at 9:37 p.m. on Route 206 near its intersection with Public Road. Police said they smelled alcohol on Mr. Johnson’s breath, and he failed several sobriety tests. He was also charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and having a minor as a passenger while driving under the influence. Mr. Johnson was released to a friend.

   Paul Klein, 48, of Voorhees, was charged Nov. 12 with driving while intoxicated. Mansfield police stopped Mr. Klein at 8:37 p.m. on Pond Road due to his failure to stay in his lane. They smelled alcohol on his breath, and he failed a series of sobriety tests, police said. Mr. Klein was also charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, open/unsealed alcohol container in a motor vehicle, refusal to give a breath sample, and failure to have his car inspected. He was released with a pending court date for an outstanding warrant in Camden City. Mr. Klein was released to his mother.
