TRENTON – Emma L. Saranin, 64, died Saturday at St. Francis Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime resident. Ms. Saranin worked for the State of New Jersey, Division of Health and Senior Services as an operator, retiring in 2007. She was a member of the Hamilton Senior Club and she enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.
Daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Carrigg Lecato and wife of the late Stephen Saranin Jr., she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven J. and Antonette Saranin and James J. and Cherie Saranin both of Bordentown Township; five grandchildren, Alicia, Ashley, Logan, Olivia and Stephen; a nephew and his wife, Steve and Tracy Walker and their children, Devin and Madison; and best friends Karla and Jerry.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown. Burial followed at the St. Mary’s Cemetery on Cedar Lane in Hamilton Township.
