HILLSBOROUGH — Frederick L. Booth, died Jan. 14 at Foothill Acres Nursing Center, Hillsborough.
Born and raised in Newark, he had been a resident of Monmouth Junction since 1967. For the last seven years he had resided with his daughter in Hillsborough.
Mr. Booth retired from Diehl, a division of Singer Company of Finderne. He also retired as head custodian from Crossroads Middle School of South Brunswick.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
His wife, Frances C. Booth, is deceased.
Surviving are a daughter, Judith Gail Burlew of Hillsborough; a son Frederick W. of East Brunswick; a brother, Joseph of Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Gladys Rhein of Deer Park, N.Y.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Jan. 17 from M. J. Murphy Funeral Home, in Monmouth Junction with the Rev. John Maltby, pastor of Miller Memorial Presbyterian Church of Monmouth Junction officiating. Entombment was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
